Internship in Global Logistics Corporation. Trainees will assist in the development of US imports and exports worldwide. Participants will also learn and practice the international trade and logistics concepts of ocean Freight, air Freight, quotes, import and export sales, banking ( letters of credit, direct collections, sight drafts, cash against documents, ect), handling communications with international vendors. Housing is provided for 2 weeks. Employer is willing to help candidates search for housing options, however candidates are expected to secure it on their own. J-1 should bring at least $800 with them upon arrival. You can also check the "Internship training USA" programme description. This will answer most of your general questions and explain the application process. |
| Pre-requisite: | Logistics/International Trade or related experience required. Relevant education and Spanish language skills a plus. |
