| Job Position Details: |
Charleston Marriott Town Center. Culinary rotation will include experience in restaurant kitchens, pastry / bakery and banquet / garde manger. Hotel will arrange accommodation in housing that is within 2 miles of the hotel. Accommodation is based on 2 people sharing a room and costs $75 per week. Rent is deducted from your paycheck. Transportation is available by city bus and accommodation is located close to the bus line. Hotel provides free uniforms J-1 should bring at least $800 with them upon arrival. Overtime may be available based on the business needs of the hotel but it is not guaranteed. You can also check the "Internship training USA" programme description. | Pre-requisite: |
Good English Speaking Skills required. Must be studying on a culinary degree program / have previous kitchen line cook experience and have solid knife skills. Must be able to perform physically demanding work and be able to lift, carry and push heavy objects. Must pass a DHI pre-screen by skype webcam and a telephone interview with hotel prior to job offer. |
