Job Position Details: Footwear company that designs, develops, and imports women’s fashion footwear

The intern will be assigned to assist IT Manager and staff with providing computer hardware, software and technical support.

Duties include: Supporting PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software (Microsoft Office)

Monitoring help desk support requests

Providing end user support in various levels of technical and non-technical staff

In addition, intern may assist the Web page development, Web content management and special IT projects.

This is an unpaid internship but could turn into a paid position in future time.

Pre-requisite: Student must have awareness of the PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, application software and reasonable computer knowledge and experience.

Interested applicants should possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.

Ability to research solutions to business problems using IT Solutions and provide detailed reports.

Ability to complete small development projects in the area of Website Applications with MS SQL Back End.

Ability to provide general end-user support for basic computer problems and learn how IT Operations work in the company.

Able to interact effectively with management, staff and other personnel, and work independently, and/or as part of a team.

Ability to be onsite at the office at least 2 days a week, more is preferred. Work hours are flexible but a minimum of 4 work hours is required and would be during business hours, 9am to 5pm. 6 hours per day is preferred.
